Spectacular sight
One of our most cherished natural wonders, the Mannum Waterfalls, are a spectacular sight! They’re not only breathtaking during the winter season when they’re fast flowing but also worth exploring when they’re dry, giving you a chance to discover all the nooks and crannies.
Located just a short 10-minute drive from Mannum along the Mannum to Murray Bridge Road, the waterfalls are fed from the Adelaide foothills into Reedy Creek. With easy parking at two car parks, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the falls with ease. The lower car park offers a one-kilometre walk to the falls, passing waterholes, and native flora while the upper carpark is situated above the falls, providing a shorter but steeper walk down.
Bushwalkers will delight in the moderate to steep walking tracks along Reedy Creek. These trails meander alongside large granite outcrops, allowing visitors to experience the fascinating geology and picturesque surroundings up close. The area is also abundant in wildlife, making it a perfect spot to connect with nature.
Be sure to bring hats, sunscreen, water and good walking shoes for a comfortable and safe experience. Don’t forget your camera, especially after a good rain, as the falls are most spectacular during this time. It’s also a great picnic spot, and toilets are located 600m from the lower car park.
Whether you’re there for a leisurely walk or an adventurous hike, the Mannum Waterfalls offer breathtaking views and a memorable experience.
Track conditions vary so caution is always recommended.
